Because this week wasn't crazy enough, the school was holding its twice-a-year picnic called "Lunch With a Loved One." It's a cool event where literally HUNDREDS of moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors all come out to eat lunch with the students.
I grabbed the girls some Chik-Fil-A and then headed over to the school. It was a little chilly and rain was on the way, but the forecast held and we were able to eat without getting soaked. Ainsley's Pod came out first.
(Yes...she did her hair herself this morning....) We started our meal and then about 15 minutes later....Anastasia and her classmates emerged from the building.
It's just fun to get to eat with them in the middle of their day.
I love that our school does it each semester!
