Her Blood Runs Orange

We've had a great weekend. Lots of family time, lots of running, lots of cleaning and purging around the house, all in all - a great few days.

I must say though, the highlight of the weekend came at church this morning. We were almost done with communion. There was an older woman (think mid-80's) two pews in front of me. She turned around and whispered (a little too loudly) to no one in particular, "Is that Coach Dooley?" It was, in fact, Coach Dooley and his family, heading up the steps to the altar to receive Holy Communion. The woman's whisper spread up and down the pews as more and more of my fellow congregants recognized our new head coach. It was pretty humorous. Something tells me attendance on Sunday may go up a bit, especially after a Big Orange win. ; )
