After several practice runs and plenty of candy, the real Halloween finally reared its pumpkin head. Anastasia opted to be a witch this week and Ainsley swapped her ballerina costume for a "princess witch" one. It's actually a costume my mom made for me when I was four or five. I wore dad's NASA astronaut suit.
We got dressed far too early and had to kill time in the yard until it got dark. Anna had joined us for dinner so she helped keep the ghosts and goblins entertained until night fell. Allie was all over the place.
The sun finally set and we headed off around the neighborhood. It was a beautiful night to be out and the girls got a ton of candy.
