Vacation Countdown

We are in vacation countdown mode at Casa Lamar. It's inching closer, but not nearly close enough. Last week the kids and I created a paper chain with colored construction paper. We have one link for each day. Before bed, the girls tear off a link and move us closer to our week at the beach.

The last time we spent a week at the beach (in May 2008)....Ainsley was a toddler.

That swimsuit she's wearing now fits Allie.

Anastasia was a preschooler. Look at her cheeks!

We're heading back to perhaps my favorite beach. The Outer Banks of North Carolina.

It's a far piece from the mountains of Tennessee but it is worth each and every mile. I'm so looking forward to a week away with my four favorite people on the planet. It can't come soon enough!
