A Yearbook Comparison

School is winding down so that means Anastasia's yearbook was recently delivered. In a funny turn of events, mine was delivered to me on the exact same day. Mom and dad are moving this week and came across a copy of my yearbook from first grade.

That's a little first grade me. And here's a little first grade Anastasia.

I love that she and I both have this awkward little "kind-of" grin. Like we're not quite sure how to handle this school portrait thing. She enjoyed looking through my black and white year book while hers is in full-color complete with glossy pages and a sparkly cover. She also got a kick out of seeing her grandparents in my yearbook. Nana was a teacher that year and there's a candid shot of Granddaddy telling stories to a group of students as I mentioned earlier in the week. Can't believe we're just weeks away from summer vacation!
