Walk-A-Thon

If being a mother of three has taught me nothing else, it has taught me that things rarely go the way I planned...no matter how hard I try. On Friday I had planned to attend Anastasia's walk-a-thon at school. It was a nice day and her class was scheduled to walk after lunch so it was good timing all around.

I coated Ainsley and myself with sweater in a bottle (SPF50) and packed water bottles and the camera. I got Allie up from nap only to discover she was running a fever. Fortunately, Granddad and Anna were able to break away from the moving day chores long enough to pop over to the school.

I was so sorry to miss the event but Anna took some great pictures for us.

Look at her go! Obviously...she was channeling her mama here. And poor Granddad got roped into volunteering. He was charged with marking off each lap on their backs.

Anastasia and her classmates had such a great time. She walked/ran 24 laps!

I'm so proud of her. She's had a great year at school. Can't believe there are just 7 days left!!!
