Yesterday I ventured outside, still in my pajamas, silently hoping my neighbors were still asleep to grab my paper. It was encased in plastic as it always is so as I walked back in I ripped it open. I tossed it on the kitchen table and turned around to get the milk for my cereal. This is what greeted me when I turned around.

Yup, that's my dad. On the front page, above the fold...with a head so big it blots out the word Knoxville. The picture on the actual story was even larger. The kids of course got a kick out of seeing Granddad in the newspaper. If you'd like to read the article you can click here. It does a pretty good job of getting to the heart of mountains and ministry...the two things that really make my father tick.
